In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the LTA Foundation would like to support students through offering the opportunity of volunteer committee positions and internships those who have lost or projected to lose their unpaid internships or public health capstone projects that are needed for graduation.
The Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation's mission is tied to a commitment to advance the community. Our efforts promote enrichment of our communities by providing funding for educational programming, scholarship and humanitarian relief.
The Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation was founded in 2015 by Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. On July 14, 2016, the IRS reviewed and approved the foundation’s organizing documentation and granted it the coveted distinction of being a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization exclusively for educational, charitable and humanitarian services.
Lambda Theta Alpha was the first sorority of its kind. The pioneering actions of the sorority’s Founding Mothers have allowed women to feel a sense of belonging, while providing a space to achieve their highest academic and professional potential.
Creating the Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation ensures the mission of advancing minority communities continues for years to come.
The mission of the Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation can only be accomplished with donations from supporters. Donations to the Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation will have a meaningful impact to both Lambda Theta Alpha members and the greater community.
All donations are tax deductible.
